Aside from delicate cherry blossom-inspired merchandise, we can look forward to plenty of pink-themed foods, such as Tempura Makino's brand new seasonal menu!

Diners can also pamper themselves with the Sakura Ebi Kakiage Platter ($19), containing a mouthwatering assortment of sakura ebi kakiage, prawn, asparagus, eggplant, tomato vine, and sakura denbu enoki tempura. There's also a mentai cream dip on the side to pair them with.

Can't decide between the two? Why not have both! Pick the Sakura Petals to Platter ($25) to have both the Cherry Himokawa Udon and Sakura Ebi Kakiage Platter served up to your table.

Alternatively, those who want to indulge in freshly prepared tempura on a smaller scale can opt for the ala carte Sakura Ebi Kakiage ($6).

Since the occasion calls for equally beautiful drinks, wash it all down with some cherry blossom-inspired beverages. Try the Sakura Momo Blossom Mocktail ($7), a cherry blossom and peach puree soda concoction, or go for the spiked version with shochu ($9).

Seasonal desserts

Make sure you leave a little space for dessert! The Blooming Mizu Shingen Mochi ($6) is not only superbly pretty, but also bouncy and satisfyingly sweet, thanks to its brown sugar syrup and soybean powder topping.

Tempura Makino's Sakura menu will be available at all outlets islandwide from 1 April to 30 May.
