A Look At Jay Chou's Latest MV【不愛我就拉倒 If You Don't Love Me, It's Fine】

Similar to some of his MVs such as【告白氣球 Love Confession】, Jay's latest MV has its spotlight on a couple while his song tells narrates their love life.

The MV follows the story of a motorcyclist and his lover whom he shared great moments with. From showing her how to ride a bike to celebrating his birthday and more but then... something happened. Read on to find out what happened :P

The first two seconds of the MV has already set the mood for us. Jay welcomes viewers with his back, overlooking the pouring rain outside in high-ceiling room accompanied by a grey, marble grand piano and what seems like a Harley bike.

Jay then started to serenade us with his captivating vocals while his fingers started doing its work on the grand piano.

The scene quickly changes to a motorcyclist speeding down the expressway with flashbacks of the memories between him and his ex-lover (presumably).

This scene definitely wow-ed me. I'm a sucker for videos with a hint of vintage cinematography and this did it for me. Also, Jay looks at least ten years younger in this hairstyle.

We know that something is about to come in and change the moment when Jay started to show off his piano skills, changing the mood of the MV (and song) dramatically.

While the MV hasn't received much reviews yet, the song itself has been subjected to both praise and criticism from netizens in Taiwan and China.

One of them has even requested for Jay to rewrite the lyrics!
