She said to People, “Even on American Idol I was really thin, but I was bigger than the other girls on the show, so people would say things to me. But luckily I am super confident, so I've never had a problem with shutting people down and saying, 'Yeah, you know, that's just what I'm rocking. It's fine.' ” In the face of criticism, she tends to swipe if off her shoulder. That's why we love her and we are all in for her type of sassiness.

"I don't obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it," Kelly joked.

"There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism–that is not me. I wish I had a better metabolism. But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has."

Kelly Clarkson later clarified with the media that she was misquoted and she was never miserable because she had to be thin. She was miserable & as a result she became thin. That's a big difference.

On her recent weight loss, Kelly Clarkson credited the success to her 'glam squad' and she joked, "I literally hired Harry Potter and SPANX, it's all like a sausage," Spanx is an innerwear brand in the United States where people wear it to appear skinnier and she was insinuating that it was magical that she dropped so much weight.
