Well, we have something just as gratifying, but fancier, and in the comfort of a swanky hotel restaurant to boot. We're taking about the new 'Tastes of Malaysia' buffet at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay's Peppermint.
Served from now till 10 April 2024, the indulgent halal buffet features a wide variety of flavours drawn from various states of Malaysia, prepared by Peppermint's Chef de Cuisine, Leon Yee, and his Culinary Team.

Diners can expect classics like a rich and fragrant Penang Assam Laksa, perfectly charred and crispy Johor San Lou Bee Hoon, and other comfort dishes like Penang Char Kway Teow, KL Chicken Bak Kut Teh with Mushroom, and Pan-seared Har Lok Rock Lobster.

The buffet also offers a fusion of regional flavours, with dishes like the succulent Rendang Wagyu Beef Short Ribs in fragrant coconut milk and spice paste, Orang Asli Tribe Ayam Pansoh cooked in bamboo with aromatic herbs and spices, and Perak Golden Pillow Bun with Curry Chicken.

Peppermint's chefs didn't forget Malaysian street food either! Crowd-pleasers like Ramly-style Beef Burger and Truffle Chicken Roti John will be among the line-up.

Lunchtime diners will get to make their own Chendol and Rojak at the charming DIY stations designed to look like roadside food stalls.

Diners at the dinner seating will also get an exclusive treat - a meticulously marinated Kambing Panggang AKA Roast Whole Baby Lamb.
Don't get too carried away with the savoury dishes as there's a mouthwatering spread of Malaysian desserts. Some treats to look forward to include Putri Ayu, a traditional Malay steamed cake infused with pandan, Pulut Hitam, sweet black glutinous rice porridge, Bubur Cha Cha, as well as an assortment of cakes and nonya kueh.
